Review: The Beast of Buckingham Palace by David Walliams

After the heaviness of the last few books I’ve read, I thought a fun and easy read was in order, so I plumped for The Beast of Buckingham Palace, by David Walliams

The book is set in 2120, and Prince Alfred must find the strength and courage to investigate what is happening in Buckingham Palace, and save his family, London and the world!!

David Walliams in a fantastic story teller. I could hear his voice throughout, and I can imagine the audio book must be brilliant too. It’s easy to see why he is a multi million bestselling author.

I really enjoyed how exciting each page looked. It makes the words come alive, and I’d imagine that interests children a lot more than just lines of text.

The book is aimed at children aged 7 – 12, but books are books and can be enjoyed by all! I’d definitely recommend it, for children and adults alike!
